ABOUT COREY

After signing his first professional contract with the Los Angelas Kings in 2009, Corey has entered the 10th professional season of his career. Corey has played at the NHL, AHL, and Elite Euopean Pro-league levels, following four years of D1 NCAA hockey for The Ohio State University. He represented team USA in the 2011 Deutschland Cup, and won a Czech Elite League Championship with HC Pardubice, and silver medal in 2015 with HIFK Helsinki in the Finnish Liiga. He has trained and learned from world class trainers at the Olympic, collegiate, and professional levels. This program is largely inspired by, and built from, his experience training with former U.S. Olympic Speed Skater, David Cruikshank, and former Finnish Olympic Speed Skater, Janne Hanninen.

"By working with some of the best ice hockey players in the world for the last 12 years, I have been able to help them to develop their speed and skating skills.  I have been training Corey for over a year while in Finland, and he has really been able to internalize my knowledge."

"As the founder of DC Hybrid Skating I'm glad to see that Corey will be forwarding what he has learned through his time training at DC Hybrid skating.  As a 4x Olympian in speed skating and a skating coach in the NHL, I have seen first hand how important skating is towards reaching a player/athlete's potential. Learning the physics of speed will help all athletes reach their goals, and have more fun playing the game."
